Many of the tribal reservations today remain mired in poverty and alcoholism because many native Americans continue to cling to the darkness of indigenous superstition instead of coming into the light of Christianity and assimilating into Christian culture.Ah yes, those natives haven’t assimilated into Christian culture. Perhaps because the prevailing culture isn’t Christian and has much more too do with deep-fried hamburgers and Justin Bieber flipping his hair onto a deep-fried hamburger? Sure, Fischer, that race of people should assimilate into a fellow minority group.
